Box book report directions/rubric

Book Report #2  due upon returning from Spring Break
                                      
1.  Front page:  Title, Author, Picture, and your name in the bottom right corner.

2.  Back page:  Write a summary about your book. . .
 Include:  setting (when and where it takes place); characters   (names and descriptions); the problem; the most exciting part of the story (climax);… remember, don’t tell the ending of the story.

3.  Left side:   Number of chapters; number of pages; write your favorite quote from the story and the character who said it… remember to use commas and quotation marks.

4.  Right side:  I would recommend this book because…. (write why you liked the book and want others to read it)… or…  I would not recommend this book because… (write why you didn’t like the book and don’t think others  should read it)

5.  Inside the box:  Have pictures or items that represent your story.  Remember, when you present your report to the class, you’ll explain what each item is and how it relates to your story.
